Disclosures and methodology
How we work
What Zeneqt is, what it will never do, where our numbers come from, and how we correct mistakes.
What Zeneqt is
Zeneqt is an investor education and analytical platform. We explain how markets, businesses and mutual funds work, and build free tools so you can make your own decisions. Zeneqt is not registered with SEBI as a Research Analyst or Investment Adviser, and nothing we publish is investment advice or research.
What we will never do
- Give stock tips, price targets, "stocks to watch", or buy, sell or hold calls.
- Give personalised advice about your portfolio.
- Promise or imply returns.
- Take money from brokers, fund houses or listed companies to promote them, or earn referral or distribution commissions.
- Name an individual stock alongside its recent price movement. SEBI's rules for education (circular of 8 May 2026) restrict using the last 30 days of price data in that way, and we follow them across every page, email and session.
How Market Desk is made
- Live prices for world indices, currencies and commodities are streamed by TradingView's licensed widgets. Some markets are delayed, and Indian index prices there are previous-day closes.
- The written update (summary, India indices and sectors, money flows, bond yields, news and explainers) is compiled around 9 am, 1 pm and 4 pm on weekdays from public reporting by named sources, which are linked on the page. Every update shows the time it was written.
- AI assistance: we use AI tools to help gather, draft and translate the written update. Numbers are taken only from the cited sources; if a figure can't be verified it is left out rather than estimated.
- Translations into Telugu and Hindi are made from the English update. If a translation isn't ready, the page shows English.
- We show market indices, sectors, currencies, commodities and bonds only. We do not show individual stock gainers or losers.
Historical data and calculators
- The market history uses rounded, approximate Sensex closing levels from public sources. Sources differ slightly on exact dates and levels.
- The calculators show arithmetic on the assumptions you enter. Returns are not guaranteed, real markets don't move in straight lines, and taxes are ignored.
- Examples in our guides and articles use hypothetical companies or older data so they teach a method without pointing to a security.
Conflicts of interest
Zeneqt and its founder may hold investments in listed securities and mutual funds. Because we never name individual securities in our content, these holdings don't influence what we publish. Zeneqt earns money only from its own courses and, in future, its own memberships.
Corrections
